Gold Bond Dissolver
This product
contains only one ingredient that is regulated by OSHA Hazard Communication
Standard (29 CFR 1910-1200)
The
Dissolver contains less than 15% of this ingredient. With over eight (8) years of testing and
continued consumer use, there has been no incidence of discomfort or skin or
scalp irritations discovered or reported.
The
following is a chemical breakdown of the chemical properties of this OSHA
regulated ingredient. Please be aware that
the dissolver contains 15% of this ingredient, so that what ever toxicity that
this ingredient contains the amount in the dissolver is only 15% far below the
amount that could have any adverse affect for human external use or fire
hazards.
The base majority
ingredient in the dissolver is a Cosmetic Grade Mineral Oil that has no OSHA
regulations. Remaining ingredient are not regulated by OSHA and are considered
trade secrets if present.
The purpose
of a MSDS is to alert the consumer of any ingredient that may pose a hazard or
could cause injury or pose a health problem for human use.

SKIN CONTACT
Wash with soap
and large quantities of water and seek medical attention if’ irritation from
contact persists.
EYE CONTACT
Flush with
large quantities of water for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical
attention.
INGESTION
DO NOT induce
vomiting. Call your poison control
center, hospital emergency room, or physician immediately.
STORAGE
Keep
container tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not
store near flames or at elevated temperatures.
HANDLING
Read carefully
all cautions and directions on product label before use. Since empty container retains residue, follow
all label warnings even after container is empty. Dispose of empty container
according to all regulations. Do not reuse this container.
VENTILATION PROTECTION
Use only
with adequate ventilation to prevent build-up of vapors.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
For OSHA
controlled work place and other regular users - Use only with adequate
ventilation under engineered air control systems
OTHER PROTECTION
Various
application methods can dictate use of additional protective safety equipment,
such as impermeable aprons, etc., to minimize exposure. A source of clean water
should be available in the work area for flushing eyes and skin. Do not eat,
drink, or smoke in the work area. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
